Favourite Pegs

Many of the lakes on the estate are quite small and intimate. All are well stocked, and are perfect for a quiet days pleasure fishing. You'll probably have the lake to yourself, so have fun!

Lake 1 - Horseshoe Lake
Main species include mirror, common and ghost carp averaging 8-10lbs, but some twenties and thirties inhabit this small, horseshoe-shaped lake.
Specimen Lake
New Lake Lake 2 - New Lake
Main species are tench, carp to 19lbs, roach and rudd. Situated next to the lower car park this is an ideal lake for the less mobile angler and provides good weights during all seasons.
Lake 3 - Old Lake
Main species are tench, carp to 19lbs, roach and rudd. Linked to the New Lake, this more mature water has countless different fish holding features and provides excellent sport.
Old Lake
Top Lake Lake 4 - Top Lake
Main species include carp, tench, roach, bream, skimmers and perch. A good mixed bag pool, this lake offers anglers a great opportunity to bag up - 100lb plus hauls are frequent.
Lake 5 - Cherry Tree Lake
Carp, tench, roach and perch up to 2lb 8oz. Surrounded by woodland this beautifully matured pool holds some pristine specimens and provides all levels of angler with a memorable days fishing.
Oak Tree Lake Lake 6 - Oak Tree Lake
Koi, golden orf to 16lb, tench, roach, bream and skimmers. Heading further into the fisheries woodland this picturesque lake is less pressured and well worth a look.
Lake 7 - Main Lake
Koi, golden orf, common and minor carp to 18lb, tench, bream, roach and perch. Access is via the car park next to the clubhouse. This is the largest of all lakes and responds well to most methods.
Lake 8 - Christmas Tree Lake
Stocked with silverfish - roach, rudd, tench, bream and crucian. Access is via the car park next to the clubhouse, and this open water provides a tranquil alternative to some of our smaller, secluded lakes.
Lake 9 - Pittance Lake
The newest lake at Willinghurst and is next to Christmas Tree Lake. Completed in the summer of 2002, this open water has a large head of silver fish - roach, rudd, tench, bream and crucian.
